mm3d software package provides OpenGL based 3D model editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mm3d
mm3d is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mm3d package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mm3d *
You will get with mm3d package name, version, architecture and description in a table
